Founded in 2015, JSK Videos has already brought the power of visual story telling to a worldwide audience, from Los Angeles to Dubai, Chicago, China and everywhere in between.
Our Founder, Julian SK
I’ve had a video camera in my hand since I was four years old. By the time I was in high school I was shooting music videos for friends – some of whom went on to find major success. Throughout my high school years I shot Isiah Rashad’s first music video, as well as toured with Juicy J, and Chevy Woods. Inspired and hungry for more footage, I then headed up to Chicago to get my degree in film production at DePaul University.
I made a wide variety of videos in college, including work with iHeart Radio, Complex, AT&T, Lupe Fiasco, Calvin Harris and Keiza. By the time I graduated college, I had already landed my first full time editing position. I packed up my computer, camera, tripod, and hard drives and shipped off to Los Angeles to work at A.Smith & Company. In this position, I helped to develop original TV shows and produce sizzle reels for shows like American Ninja Warrior and Hells Kitchen.
While living in LA, I continued making music videos for artists including Famous Dex, Rich The Kid, Soulja Boy and Mozzy. These videos, and others, have allowed me to build up my own YouTube channel to a following of over 60,000 subscribers with 25 million+ views. In addition, over the last few years I have built and maintained a loyal base of corporate clients who come to me for their editing, because they don’t want the same ole’ thing to represent their brand.
Currently stationed in Denver, CO, I edit vlogs for YouTube star Roman Atwood, Alicia Keys, Adidas, and am always working with new clients, large and small. I currently work at Starz as a Video Editor and Producer. I am looking forward to hearing about what kind of work I can do for you!
